Sam and Haley ran cross-country for the month of September. Sam's races were 1 mile, and Haley's races were .5 miles. This was through their school, and they trained really hard, and did amazing at the races. They both loved it, and it was really fun for us to see them improve at every race. Check out the times...Wow!!
Yesterday was the championship race. Sam was out sick withe chicken pox all week. He basically didn't eat much and layed around all day for the whole week watching silly movies. He still came in 7th place!! This is the last 5 seconds of the race, and the moment when his teammate pulled ahead. He was hurting after the race...and had mixed-emotions about whether he should have raced after being sick.

Haley was the first girl from her school to finish in her K-3 division. She was so proud.
