Nov 10-11
We had a somewhat last minute and fairly early slumber party for Haley last night. Her birthday is December 4, but with the Thanksgiving break and Ari's European travels at the end of this month for 3 weeks...it was no or never. Enjoy the slideshow, and turn up the volume so you can rock out to the 2 theme songs of the party!

OCTOBER 31
Today was a real busy day! We had a soccer game, a swim meet...and of course trick or treating.

Swim meet:
This was Haley's 1st swim meet.
She was dq from the breast stroke and the fly (but with her times she would have placed 7th and 5th respectively). On freestyle, she placed 3rd (and won her heat).

October 30 Every year Charlie's preschool does a really cute Halloween carnival. Each of the 3 classes learns a song or poem, they parade to the other classes and perform. Then they have carnival games, a bouncy castle and break their homemade pinatas.  fun carnival games  They made their own trick or treat containers- a spider  Pinata  Making cookies Aerosmith On October 20, Ari and I took Sam to his first rock concert. Aerosmith played here, and we had fantastic seats. Steve Tyler performed like he'd never hurt his shoulder, Joe Perry split his pants, and Sam was exposed (I hope for the first time) to people openly smoking pot (We had some funny discussions about it during the show- Sam was a little nervous that the cops would swoop down and start arresting people). Anyway, it was a great show, and a GREAT first rock concert for Sam! |

You know, you're the person who inspired me to create a blog in the first place and you're a terrible blogger. It's March. Your last update was NOVEMBER. I'm just sayin'.... :-) Good thing there's facebook!!
